Walking Dumbbell Lunges

Focus/Muscles: Glutes, Hamstrings, Quads

I have a love/hate relationship with this exercise. Who else is with me??It’s super taxing on the body, however it works extremely well. Three sets of these and you are toasted.

Setup:
I am carrying Dumbbells in each hand. Take a large step forward with one leg and the opposite leg trails behind. During that large step, your knee will go out towards your toe and press back up. Trail leg will then take a large step forward and repeat.  Also, as you come down, the Dumbbells well balance forward over the leg stepping out. Slight arch in back.
🏷Note: Slow and controlled. My knee is going down to about an inch off the floor. Take a Large step forward to engage more glutes.

3 x 12-16 steps-Heavy
