You have between 5-10 pounds to lose for upcoming tournament.

You pick up the training & decrease your calories.

You see some initial weight drop, but then it stubbornly decides to stall.

You feel frustrated because you know you’re running out of time and now you feel your energy starting to drop during the day, which makes it hard to push yourself during training.

Well, i feel you, love and I want to help.
.
YES, you must be in a caloric deficit in order to lose weight. However there is a small caveat that is keeping you confused and frustrated with this process.
.
The reason why your weight won’t budge is likely related to these two things:
.
⭐️You are reducing your calories TOO MUCH- which shuts down your metabolism and fat-burning potential while also causing you to feel tired during training or decrease your motivation to get to the gym in the first place.
.
⭐️You are exercising TOO MUCH - which, in combination with decreased calories, can hasten you chances of becoming overtrained, causing your body to remain in a chronically stressed state that reduces your ability to lose weight.
.
So with that said, the best way to start fixing this RIGHT NOW is to:
.
✅Figure out your maintenance calories (based on your height, age, weight, activity) and then deduct no more than 500 calories daily -- i recommend hiring a dietitian, like myself, to do this so you know exactly what you need, but you can definitely find calorie calculators online, should you prefer that.
.
✅Train SMARTER and HARDER, not LONGER. Make the days you train count, but also make sure you are adding 1-2 rest days EACH WEEK to ensure proper recovery and to allow your body to repair.

Uma palavra definiu nossa atleta @gabby_rocha_tsu e essa palavra é #superacao 
Em uma das etapas do estadual de 2018 ela estava muito doente chegando ao ponto de tomar uma medicação forte (bezetacil) e com menos de 24hs após a aplicação estava a 600 km de casa disputando e sendo campeã da etapa!
Parabéns Gabby, não esperávamos menos de vc!

Yesterday was a pretty productive day!
The kids did Judo, we bought a new washing machine and then started decluttering! We did 2 rooms yesterday which were 2 of the most difficult ones we could do, the toy room and the girls bedroom..
The girls and I got stuck into their room, we made 3 piles - keep, throw and keepsakes. Once we had cleaned out everything, we gave the keep pile a place, put all the keepsakes into a plastic tub and then threw everything else away!!
It was so therapeutic for me to know the girls have a nice clean space again, that everything has a place and that when we move I know were not taking things we don’t need or that don’t add value! But I possibly made a couple of little enemies in the process 😬😂
