⚡️REAL TALK⚡️: vulnerable content coming right up . . . 😳. — For the longest time I hated my body. Up until recently I’d be nit-picking at every little flaw - I’m sure most of us have done or still do the same 💁🏻♀️👎🏻. • I despised my boulder-like, cellulite ridden thighs. • My tiny feet. • My miniature body with such “misproportioned” features, it seemed - big butt, decently sized chest. • My masculine back & bulging biceps. •At one point I could swear my traps were nearly touching my ear lobes 🤦🏻♀️. When I reached middle school I had to start wearing women’s jeans because even the size 14 juniors pants couldn’t get passed my thighs 😅. •Friends in school would always comment on how I walked like a body builder because of the size of my lats. So, for the longest time I thought something was wrong with me. I tried the whole not eating thing + binging & purging nonsense, which luckily didn’t last long. I was too
Because any snowy day calls for a berry protein smoothie 😅😋🤤 . — Sometimes it’s super hard to get your body moving 💁🏻♀️ LBH . . . especially coming from an athletic background where we constantly had coaches pushing us, motivating us, & telling us what to do #athletelife 😏 Most of the time we don’t know where to start if we’re just getting back into the swing of things. 🤔 Guess what? That’s OK 😉⚡️All it takes is 1️⃣ small commitment to find some type of movement each day, whether it’s walking, a light jog, or starting with basic body weight exercises you did when you were - according to society - “in your prime” 😜 So, basically what I’m saying is...when you’re feeling unmotivated, the best way to get going is to •just move• 🤸🏻♀️ squeeze in any time to find some way to move your body + before you know it you’ll be back in the athletic mindset doing movement you love, taking action, & feeling like your

This is what stronger together looks like! — I had an amazing time presenting to this group of young leaders and participants in sports @dillarduniversity. The funny thing about #monday is . . . it doesn’t control you ✨💁🏻♀️😉. — Last week took me by surprise - having to “sleep” on the floor in front of the bathroom so you can make it there in time to puke ((sorry for the graphics)) or at least try for an entire night into morning is the absolute WORST 🙄😅 and let’s put it this way, I’m finally feeling back to normal. I wasn’t able to eat a full meal until Saturday! 😩 not to mention the dehydration...I’m still catching up on that it feels like + the weather doesn’t help. I had zero energy or desire to be on blast around social media, mostly because I looked & felt like I was hit by a bus 😆 So, it was a chance for me to recharge & take some edge off. Hope that’s OK 😉🙏🏼. — I just want to remind you today that every day you wake up is another opportunity to take control, it doesn’t just have to be Monday’s - it just happens to be a Monday 😜. Change your mindset

SKIN SECRETS 💆🏻♀️✨ - . For those that don’t know, I am 31 years fresh & still get asked for ID, if I’m “of age,” how I keep my skin looking so young & vibrant all the time 💁🏻♀️ I’m not trying to brag, but seriously? My secret is oils!. — In my 20’s my skin didn’t look as good as it does now. I was fortunate enough not to have really bad acne, BUT I did have breakouts consistently & could never seem to balance out my skin properly. I also broke out heavily on my upper back, which could have been due to sports - being in gymnastics you’re using lots of equipment and laying/rolling on mats that are also being used by others so things could get a little ugly 😅. — Here are my best tips for keeping your skin looking young, fresh, & vibrant especially if you’re an active person: . ⚡️ drinks lots of H2O ⚡️ eat plenty of veggies & fruits ⚡️ hydrate your skin with pH balancing oils or 100% pure, therapeutic grade essential oils

The more energy you put into something, positive or negative, the more it will come to you. Let me say that again . . . the more you tell yourself the stories of not being good enough, that you’re a failure, that you can’t do something, that you’re not perfect, that you don’t know enough, that you’re not strong enough or brave enough or whatever other limiting beliefs you’ve wrapped yourself up in, the more your life will reflect that on you if you can’t see the false perception it’s projecting on you 💁🏻♀️ . — Here is one simple mindset trick you can start doing TODAY to start using the law of attraction to work WITH YOU instead of against you: . • every morning, before you do

Reminiscing back to warmer times today after finishing up my practice @ cocomotion Big thanks to @christianne g After this long week, with lots of turmoil and disheartening news, I've been thinking more and more about #freedom what it means to myself, and what it means for mankind. It's a sad day in NY for me where the most innocent of our kind have lost their greatest freedom - the right to live - while others have been granted the power to decide the value of that life. In my own life, I've struggled with the idea of freedom - is it an allowance? is it a privilege granted by a government? Is it the complete and utter non-existence of government? does it exist in some far away land where you must fend for your own? No one to tell you what to do, yet no one to catch you when you fall? Of course, the answer lies somewhere in between - we need each other, we need #community but how do we trust one another, how do the innocent trust, when we are capable of such
Who said Oats + a Cacao Latte only have to be for breakfast 😝🤤 #fridayfeels .. truth is I experiment with intermittent fasting & I love it. Intermittent fasting, or cyclic fasting, has a variety of benefits & can be different for everyone. Whether for a few hours each day or for even 1 or 2 days, it’s been used for centuries in a variety of ways & has recently been shown to be super beneficial if used regularly for boosting overall performance 💪🏻. I like to fast in the mornings, generally, and then I eat my first meal usually midday or after my morning movement sesh 🤸🏻♀️ ((just before the hangry kicks in 😳😅)). I was going to wait till it was official but I have something exciting to tell you . . . I’m going back to school 😳😅 well, sorta. Not entirely, but I’ve decided to add some extra credibility to my health coach utility belt & start a new journey! People have been asking me for years if I’m a personal trainer & i would proudly say no 😆 but Im encouraged to give it a shot 💁🏻♀️ so, in the next couple of months I’ll be studying my butt off to become an @ncsf certified strength coach 💪🏻. — Movement has been a staple in my journey since I was 6 years old 🤸🏻♀️ so what better way to pay homage to something that has given me so much my entire life so far then to take it one step further 🙌🏻 Stay tuned for new exciting stuff to come in 2019!!! Part of building a performance based lifestyle means learning how to say “bye Felicia”✌🏻 to the things that are holding us back from living a powerful life that is true to us ⚡️. These can include junk you tell yourself to keep living small, distracting + depleting habits, friendships that are unfortunately not worth your time or energy, foods that don’t nourish you ((you know what they are)), social media accounts that don’t do anything for you other than cause you shame + guilt + make you feel crappy about yourself...in other words, these are things that don’t align with your core values, or better yet, mess with your performance 💫. — This year my word/intention is #abundance . But in order for me to stay true to my intention I need to cut some corners 💁🏻♀️ last year I spent a good portion of my energy on things that only made me feel shameful, guilty, and doubtful of the work I was doing.
